'Beyond The Sky' encapsulates a hazy dream-like vision in the form of a 13 track album of downtempo lofi ambient beats. The single releases of "Celestial" and "Caresses" set the marker for the rest of the album to follow, with silky soothing beats.
Tracks such as 'Arousal' are filled with ambient glowing pads, koto strings and field recordings of morning bird song that paints of a serene landscape in the far east. Whereas 'Distractions' touches on a different emotional level. The Rhodes keys, tremolo and slide guitar feed your inner realms. Distant female vocals and uplifting tones are layered over the wooden percussion on the elevating title track 'Beyond The Sky'. The album is characterized through the gentle piano, shimmery guitar and delicate percussion that unites together and reaches deep into your soul.
Warmth emits from this album like a hot cup of tea on a cold day.
